Module Bio240 Microbiology - practical course
Registration time: 19.12.2022 - 27.01.2023
The practical course takes place during the lecture-free period after WS 22/23 on 6 days per group, from February 22nd, 2023. The script for the event will be made available to you immediately at the beginning of February via the student portal.

The transcript of records must be submitted to the secretary (Building 25.02.U1.23) or electronically by e-mail (sekretariat.fuge@uni-duesseldorf.de) before the preliminary meeting. Participation in the preliminary meeting is mandatory. Any module places that become vacant will be allocated by this date at the latest. The V410 module is not recognized alongside V411.

Master Modules
M-Modul 4452: Integrative Topics in Microbiology (ITiM)
in English, max. 14 participants
In this module you will receive an overview of current topics in microbiology - from microbiological cell biology and pathogenicity to biotechnology - in a series of lectures. In the complementary laboratory practical, you will learn current methodology in parallel by working on an independent research project.
The module includes a 4-week lecture during the semester plus a 6-week internship in one of the participating lecturers' laboratories. The date for the internship can be freely chosen in consultation with the lecturer, but can only be started after completion of the lecture and passing the subsequent portfolio exam.
